DMCA Notice Procedure
If you believe that content on USImmigrationLaw.Today infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by providing the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the website (provide the URL)
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
How to Submit a DMCA Notice
Send your DMCA notice to us through our Contact page with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. We will respond to all valid DMCA notices promptly.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including your physical or electronic signature, identification of the material that was removed and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Fair Use
USImmigrationLaw.Today may reference or quote limited portions of third-party content for purposes of commentary, criticism, news reporting, and education in accordance with the fair use doctrine under 17 U.S.C. ยง 107. Such use does not constitute infringement.
